Yes. Remote Online Notarization (RON) is fully legal in New York. Our notaries are commissioned by the NYS Department of State and perform notarizations through OneNotary, a secure, state-approved platform.

What do I need for my online notarization session?

You’ll need a valid government-issued ID, a strong internet connection, and access to a camera and microphone. You’ll also complete an identity check using knowledge-based authentication (KBA) and ID scanning before the session.

What types of documents can I notarize online?

Most standard forms including powers of attorney, affidavits, parental consent forms, real estate disclosures (not closings), and business documents. We do not handle loan signings, wills, or anything requiring attorney involvement.

How do I start the process?

How much does it cost?

Pricing is shown when you begin the OneNotary session. Fees are based on the number of signers and stamps. You can cancel before completing payment if needed.
